Litton Entertainment’s “Mission Unstoppable” to Launch Globally on CuriosityStream


–With June 18 Launch, Award-Winning Show, hosted by Miranda Cosgrove, Broadens CuriosityStream’s Quality Family Programming Slate and Litton’s Relationship with Platform–

 

(Silver Spring, MD, and Charleston, S.C., June 17, 2020) —  The global independent factual media company and the premier producer of children’s educational and informational (E&I) programming are expanding their relationship.

 

CuriosityStream – the award-winning factual streaming, on-demand, and linear channel service from Discovery Channel founder John Hendricks – and Litton Entertainment today announced an international distribution partnership for Litton’s popular show Mission Unstoppable, produced in partnership with Lyda Hill Philanthropies’ IF/THEN Initiative.  Hosted by Miranda Cosgrove, the series features women role models in science, technology, engineering & math (STEM) in a fun and innovative way with the objective of educating and inspiring the next generation of STEM pioneers.

 

Mission Unstoppable showcases women – including zoologists, engineers, astronauts, codebreakers, and oceanographers — on the cutting edge of science.  The show recently garnered a Parents’ Choice Award, a Gracie Award from the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation, and Emmy nominations including for Outstanding Educational or Informational Series.

 

 

This latest content deal builds on the March 2019 announcement that CuriosityStream acquired four popular teen-focused series from Litton, including Ocean Mysteries with Jeff Corwin and Rock The Park.
