Originally from France and based in Los Angeles, Ludo Dufour is an international media executive with a career in non-fiction coproduction and distribution and a focus on documentaries and factual entertainment. As Vice President of Licensing, Dufour heads up the global distribution of Curiosity’s vast collection of premium original programming, which features factual entertainment as well as documentary films and series.

Dufour joined Curiosity from Red Bull Studios, the global unbranded documentary production outfit of the energy drinks company. At Red Bull Studios, Dufour focused on the financing, co-production, and global distribution of top-tier television programming and theatrical documentaries.

Prior positions included Senior Vice President of International Coproductions and Sales at Blue Ant Media, where Dufour was appointed to focus on various areas, including co-productions, new business development, and content licensing to US and global partners​​.

Before, Dufour served as Managing Director of Distribution at Off the Fence, a leading global non-fiction specialist based in Amsterdam. He managed the distribution team and focused on the sales and co-productions of specialist factual content and premium documentaries​​​​, including the Oscar, BAFTA, and Grand Teton Award-winner “My Octopus Teacher” on which Dufour worked as Associate Producer.

Earlier in his career, Dufour was employed by MTV Networks International (now known as Paramount Global), where he engaged in various aspects of the business, including communications, international program sales, and social responsibility.
