Celebrating Women Storytellers

Women have been telling stories about nature since the beginning of time, and perspective is everything. Through the eyes and words of some of the greatest female cinematographers and photographers, we’re getting a unique opportunity to see a dazzling vision of the natural world.

In honor of International Women’s Day, CuriosityStream partnered with Jackson Wild, Saint Thomas Productions and the VII Foundation to celebrate the power of women storytellers. We hosted a sneak peek at CuriosityStream’s original new series Nature Through Her Eyes, and a live event with the filmmakers and conservationists profiled in the series.

How did these remarkable women discover their passion for wildlife? Do they tell stories differently than men? And what obstacles have they overcome? It’s a candid conversation that illuminates humanity’s relationship with the natural world like never before, and we’re proud to share it with you.

Enjoy a recording of the event here and watch CuriosityStream’s original series Nature Through Her Eyes here.
